Douglas Gilbert Jewelry is inspired by the color, tone, and beauty of Earth’s ecosystems. Each made-to-order piece reflects the kaleidoscope of colors found in varied biomes, such as mountainous landscapes, desert tundras, and rich green rainforests.

Doug’s craftsmanship technique is adapted from the art found in the American southwest and mirrors the enchanting appeal of a bright sunset spilling across a desert plain. The Collection integrates timeless jewelry design elements with exquisite, one-of-a-kind gemstones and highly versatile, durable silver art.  

Doug is an entirely self-taught silversmith and has been refining his jewelry craft since 2020. Working with metal has always been his passion. For many years, that passion was channeled into his work as a professional bicycle mechanic.  

All pieces, photos and online content are created locally by Doug in his hometown of Austin, Texas. Doug’s home studio is immersed in an abundant garden full of delicious vegetables, fragrant flowers, and towering, lush green plants, all of which surround a thriving koi pond.
